Based on the information you have given me and information on employment law. As you have been an employee for more than 2 years with a contract of employment, you are entitled to employment rights. Therefore, if you wanted to challenge your dismissal, you should promptly contact ACAS. There are an organization which attempts over a 4-week period to conciliate employer and employees’ grievances and disputes, including terminations. You have a 3-month time limit from the date of termination to bring a claim. If you are challenging the dismissal, you will first need to exhaust the processes from ACAS before seeking further legal redress.
